Lizbeth Morningstar has a new exhibition at her Starborn Gallery…

… the gallery, itself, is a lovely piece of light and shadow, with gold-accented transparency the overall theme…

… I would describe Lizbeth’s previous work as ‘soft-focused whimsy’, with ‘Monet-like colours’, and I love her previous work. This work, however, while still soft-focus, and still wonderfully whimsical…

… has a far richer, colour-saturated palette which, if you are familiar with my own style, is a palette I adore…

… the opening for ‘Before Dawn’ is Saturday April 15, 7am-9am SLT, there will be a DJ.

I don’t have any idea where I am, or when, any more…

… I never notice the transitions, but I continue to inhabit long-dead spaces, and cannot remember the last time I saw another being…

… I appear to have been blown far off-course…

… by the winds of time that you disturbed when you left.
Hey, everyone (:
I’ve never done this, before, but this is me requesting my followers to visit another avi’s blog. I’ve been following didiyuki’s blog for a while, now, and I just don’t understand why she doesn’t get more attention. She takes lovely, thoughtful photos which, to me, should be reason enough for more attention. Please go and show her some love (:

I put a new exhibition in my home gallery, today… it’s been a while, so it was nice to see new work, there. The exhibition is called ‘Slipstream’, and it’s most of the images from my last three posts…

… I love these images…

… I feel they are the strongest images I’ve so far created in Mj…

… especially this one, which is my favourite…

… but only by a little bit…

… I really like them all, I love the relative consistency of the character across multiple images…

… and I’ve totally succeeded in creating the kind of look I wanted…

… they are so strong, they are creating their own story.

I became aware that there were no longer any other people in the realities I was now moving through…

… and these places I now inhabited, they weren’t even places we used to exist in…

… they were just sad, empty spaces…

… I was, somehow, trapped in the slipstream of your leaving, being dragged ever deeper into a reality of loss and decay.

As I wandered through those broken, empty places, I realised I couldn’t even remember your face…

… you told me that would happen, that once you’d made it to the next level, all trace of you would vanish from this one…

… but I could still remember the space that you used to fill…

… I realised I’d been roaming these places for years, possibly decades…

… even though I didn’t go with you, and could barely remember you, the fact I remembered you at all stopped me from fitting into this plane…

… I’d become a ghost.

After things fell apart, I looked for you in all those places we used to go…

… you weren’t there, of course…

… you’d gone to the next level…

… with all those elites you thought were your friends…

… I hope they were.

We’re back! It’s been a very long time since Flutters and I visited a new destination, my obsession with Midjourney has mostly been to blame, but, it’s not like we don’t regularly check the Destination Guide, we simply haven’t seen much that grabbed us, and the few places we actually have been, were less than inspiring, until we discovered Hillvale, the other day…

… we were instantly smitten, this is totally our kind of place…

… the fabulous sky, the gorgeous neon, the apocalyptic grunge…

… it’s like Drune meets Tralala’s Diner, without the lag…

… beautiful colours, just the right amount of clutter and motion…

… not an element out of place…

… lots and lots of pretty photo opportunities…

… we spent a good half hour, here, just walking and stopping, and taking pictures…

… like I said, it’s the first sim we’ve visited for a long time that’s really grabbed our attention…

… well worth a visit…

… we strolled right to the end of the main street, where there is a beach. There are nice places to rent, here, too, but the rent is a bit out of our league, otherwise I’d seriously have considered renting here, just because it’s such a pretty place.

Take me to the water…

… it calls me in my sleep…

… it’s ancient voice is soothing…

… am I awake, or dreaming?
