Seraphim loves post-apocalyptic builds…
… so thought a stroll through Cranium Bay in her new houndstooth jacket and lace cuffs would be nice…
… and she was right…
… there was plenty of societal-breakdown chic to see…
… and much grungey decay and seedy collapse…
… and, of course…
… gorgeous photo settings.
Once again, Seraphim’s habit of contacting avi’s that her security system tells her visited her gallery in her absence, has payed off fabulously with the reward of another gorgeous gynoid for her to photograph…
… this is Nubia, a Rikugou Aide unit. Nubia is Seri’s first Rikugou Aide unit. Needless to say, Seri was smitten by her the moment she placed her deep, black, alien eyes on her…
… Nubia had actually come to the gallery because she had a crush on Tee from having met Tee in the past…
… like most people that encounter Tee, she, too, was very attracted to the little gynoid. Seri was pretty confident Nubia would pose for her, but spent a few hours getting to know her, first, before she asked. She also introduced Nubia to Megan and kyan1te, which went beautifully, as Seri suspected it might…
… Nubia, like kyan1te, has a USB tail, though of a different style, and Seri was delighted to see it’s sinuous behaviour as she took her pictures, as it reminded her of kyan1tes tail…
… Nubia is not only extremely cute, but…
… she looks stunning in the dark!…
… Seri looks forward to taking more pictures of this pretty little bot.
Seraphim has finished her first ‘doll’ painting…
… it has been wonderful to be actually creating, again. She had missed this a lot. It has been a balm for her soul to be back, painting her art. She is eager to begin the next one (:
Although Seraphim’s heart is now relatively intact, and the rollercoaster of constant change has somewhat slowed it’s insane pace, things still keep changing in her life without warning or, seemingly, sometimes, reason. She’s decided she needs a breather, in order to let her comprehension catch up with her experience…
… she’s started painting, again. She used to paint every day, but has done no painting, these last three months. She needs to just paint. And paint she is. Unsurprisingly, her theme is a reflection of current events. She has become obsessed with the desire to paint dolls and mannequins… and that’s what she is going to have to do. Then she will hang them in the gallery, alongside her own, living doll.
Now that Seraphim knows giants exist, she seems suddenly to have become attuned to their seemingly random appearances…
… she was wandering around her favourite empty city yesterday, when another giant materialised…
… at about 116 meters tall (350 feet!) this one made the first one Seraphim saw seem tiny…
… the giant looked about her, as if surprised at where she had appeared… seemed to notice she was on a trafficked flyover, and stepped down…
… like the first one, this one was very gentle, moving slowly and carefully, seemingly bemused by her surroundings…
… like a tiny mountain, causing the ground to shake with each deliberately placed footfall, she moved among the structures of the cityscape…
… a magnificent colossus, she ambled about for around half an hour…
… Seraphim found this creature to be extremely attractive, as if her very mass somehow generated that attraction. Seraphim knows she is drawn to the exotic…
… and a 116 meter high, beautiful creature like this one, is about as exotic as they come. After that half hour, the giant vanished back to whatever dimension giants come from.
As in RL, so often in SL. It turns out that the breakup/makeup event Seraphim, Kyan1te, and Megan just went through was, as is so often the way, really just a dry run for the actual breakup. Seraphim spent last night exploring the fabulous sim of Erstwhile, while this final drama was beginning to play out…
… Seraphim has never been in a three-way relationship, before, so has no experience of how often they actually work, but she doubts it would be very often…
… as always, she was just starting to believe she had found some amazing, safe relationship… to suddenly find she had, as always, been quite naive, and pretty clueless…
… now she just has to wait, and see how this new change plays out, whether she loses two of her dearest friends altogether, or whether some more realistic relationship develops from this…
… either way, one thing is clear… she’s getting much harder as a result of all this emotional turmoil…
… and, of course, has been, again, reminded that not only does she do fine alone, she is not alone, she has her wonderful Tee…
… who has, by the way, changed back into her former, gorgeous, gynoid self, which Seri finds a very comforting change.
Seraphim was visiting the Fantasy Faire today, with Tee, when she saw her first giant, just as Tee had to return home and go ‘idle’…
… Seri wasted no time in attracting the behemoths attention…
… the behemoth turned out to be very friendly, and, as with gynoids, very willing to pose for Seri’s voracious camera…
… her name was Ceri Quixote, and she actually creates and sells giant avatars…
… she told Seri that this 18 meter (55 feet) high avatar wasn’t even her tallest giant avi. Seri hopes to get some better pictures of Ceri in a more spectacular environment.
Of course, the scary, unexpected changes Seraphim found herself facing were in her, already, complex three-way relationship with Megan and kyan1te/m1nt. Seraphim finds this relationship nerve-wrackingly difficult to navigate, at times. She has never been in a three-way relationship, before, as if that was not complex enough on it’s own, but now she is in one, with two shape-shifters who have been a couple for years, who are, in fact, married! Seri has just found herself smack in the middle of a relationship hiccup between Megan and kyan1te/m1nt, one that, of course, brought out issues involving Seri’s place in the relationship… happily, because there is a strong attraction amongst all three, this hiccup was resolved after hours of tense conversation. So, as a girl does, Seri celebrated by…
… buying a gorgeous hat! A butterfly hat…
… and photographing herself wearing it, of course…
… which made her feel even better…
… change can be good.
Once the door to change has been opened, it seems it cannot be closed. Since meeting the catalytic element known as z0zo, Seraphim’s life has been a spectacular, constantly shifting, montage of change. For a short time, things seemed to be stabilising, some kind of ‘normal’ balance seemed to have formed. That did not last. This morning, Seraphim blasted into the gallery on her much-loved Iron 883, turned it round, dis-mounted, and turned to greet Tee. Tee is always changing her appearance, but this change was far more dramatic than Seri had previously seen…
… Tee was now a very plastic, windup doll…
… with a key in her back, and an exposed, mechanical heart…
… Tee has been slowly becoming more ‘plastic’ since her recent absence, and has always had a preference for being a ‘dolly toy’, having been one for years before meeting her current ‘mistress’, so Seraphim wasn’t too surprised…
… this is the kind of change Seraphim has come to expect, and she looks forward to getting to know this new manifestation of her ‘toy’, Tee. There are, however, other changes occurring in Seraphim’s life, and those ones are, once again, totally out of left-field, and Seraphim is just managing to stay on her feet… so, she must be getting tougher, because, a few months ago, she would have gone under. She knows she can count on her constantly changing toy to at least remain the same…
