Call Home

Seraphim recently revisited Black Kite. There she discovered this beautiful, decrepit phone box…

CallHome

… she bought it and zapped home to unbox it… she found the ‘boxed’ animation delightful, she just loves this kind of extra, wonderful detail that the better creators add to their amazing products…

CallHome2

… she unboxed the set, and set it all up backing on to her home…

CallHome3

… she was delighted with the setup, but not with it’s photographic potential with the house behind it, so she went shopping, again (yay, shopping!), and came home with exactly what she’d wanted, a fabulous oak forest setup… she set that up between the house and the box, but wasn’t happy with it, so had to rotate everything to the right, so there was only sky behind the forest. This all took time, but, as always, it was mostly fun…

CallHome4

… till she had the result she’d envisaged…

CallHome5

… now she has a new place to chill out…

CallHome6

… and perhaps shoot a certain little Neko she’s pining for…

CallHome7

… but, for now, she’s content to sit in the comforting aroma of mouldy phone-book, with the wind soughing through the broken windows, and watch her rabbits doing their rabbity thing.

AVA 2

AVAshoot

It’s been just over a year since Seraphim first shot AVA… the two always meant to do another shoot, but only just got around to it, today…

AVAshoot2

… they did the shoot in Propsville, using different locations, with AVA choosing a few different outfits…

AVAshoot3

… like all gynoids Seri has shot, AVA enjoys being controlled/posed by Seri’s fabulous Lumipro photography system…

AVAshoot4

… which is capable of not only lighting the model, and posing her, but can even take control of her eye movement…

AVAshoot5

… this kind of control is bliss for submissive gynoids…

AVAshoot6

… after the shoot, the girls relaxed beside Seraphim’s pond.

Alone, not Lonely

Seraphim still talks to Zoey, but, due to technical problems, she has not held her girl for too long, now, and spends her time in physical solitude. Once again, she is a solo voyager. Today, she visited, for the how-manyth-time, she has lost count, that amazing, stunning, mind-boggling world of Rieri Town/Tokyo-Windhill city/Mopire city…

Rieri

… she wandered the parts she is familiar with…

Rieri2

… and, as always, found parts she has never seen before…

Rieri3

… like, totally never seen! It never ceases to amaze her that, despite the amount of time she has spent here, she still finds new areas…

Rieri4

… this green area was totally new to our intrepid explorer…

Rieri5

Waiting for Baby

It’s been 14 days since Seraphim has seen her baby. Seri built Propsville pretty much to shoot her baby in, but, since finally finishing the build, for various reasons, Zoey has been unable to actually physically get there…

wfb

… Seraphim spends a lot of time making final adjustments to Propsville, adding little details…

wfb2

… always with shooting her baby in mind…

wfb3

… always thinking how to shoot Zoey here…

wfb4

… or here…

wfb5

… she’d look fabulous here…

wfb6

… Seri is a four thousand year old being, one thing she is not, is impatient… she’ll wait for her baby.

Coming Home

Whenever Seraphim finishes an adventure, whether it’s exploration or shopping, she returns to PlaceboLand…

HC

… she has lived here nearly 8 years, now, and before that, she lived up in the hills overlooking her current land, which she coveted because it has one of Mainlands main roads running through it…

HC2

… she has spent hundreds of hours lovingly crafting her little piece of SL…

HC3

… she lives in the big building in the background… it started off as 512 square meters beside the road in Jormundgandr… she now owns 1/4 of the region, as much land as her human can afford…

HC4a

… she bought the land during the last big recession, when Jormundgandr went from being full, to being literally empty, and everything was for sale. For a long time, years, there were only a few other places in the region. These days the neighbourhood is undergoing a renewal, even if it is a constantly fluctuating one…

HC5a

… Seraphim loves her little slice of home.

Another Return Again

Seraphim decided her last post might not have conveyed the sheer weight of stuff there is at Pine Lake (Tralala’s Diner), so she went back and tortured herself with the lag, again, in order to bring back more concrete proof…

LaLa

… the place is a good visual balance of sparseness and plenty…

LaLa2

… probably every SL cat you ever saw, is here… also, probably pretty much everything else, too…

LaLa3

… certainly every sign, neon and non-neon…

LaLa4

… these clusters of neon plenty are also black holes of lag, pulling the visitor in and trapping them…

LaLa5

… Seraphim saw several other avi’s, this time, and talked to one of them, who was experiencing exactly the same crippling lag, so it isn’t just Seraphim’s human’s connection… that avi gave up in disgust, about 30 seconds before Seraphim, also, extricated herself from the price of these beautiful images.

Another Return

Almost exactly a year ago, Seraphim visited Tralala’s Diner, in Pine lake. She took her little Evie with her, that time. This time, she wanted to take her little Zoey Zoe Zoe, but Zoey was too sleepy, so she went on her own…

Lala

… this build is one of the most astonishing collections (probably the most astonishing) of stuff Seraphim has seen in SL…

Lala2

… every decayed, broken, grungey vehicle Seraphim has ever seen in SL, is here…

Lala3

… every cool piece of machinery, old equipment, junked thing, is here…

Lala4

… every decayed old building, every cool gacha prize, every tiny little thing, is here…

Lala5

… every conceivable piece of neon is here. The lag, especially at the neon heart of the place, is horrendous… it becomes almost impossible to do anything… a simple act like panning around can turn into an endless cascade of delays and corrections and over-corrections, and freezes and sudden runnings-on-the-spot… taking pictures becomes a nightmare of guessing, as the picture you actually snap, because of the appalling delay, is never the picture you get… each time you move, it takes up to 10 minutes for even half the scene to rez properly, in the worst places…

Lala6

… it’s a relief to get away from the worst places, that make you want to kill yourself, to the less-worse places, which simply suck badly…

Lala7

… and, along the way, before you finally give up in despair…

Lala8

… you get some pretty nice images.

Serendipitous Return

Seraphim was walking past one of her pictures from her visits, last year, to ‘Serendipitous Sands‘, and wondered if it still existed/had changed…

Pre-DipyTous

… so she called up her ‘Teleport History‘, found the address, and zapped back there…

DipyTous

… it was still there…

DipyTous2

… barely changed…

DipyTous3

… as beautiful, and restful as ever…

DipyTous5

… Seraphim was pleased it hadn’t, yet, gone the way of most great SL builds.
