The Shapes of Things

For most of the few months that I have been on my Mj journey of discovery, I have been making gorgeous portraits…

… my prompts had become very specialised, and I was as close to producing the results I was after as I think I could have gotten, only hamstrung by Mj/Discord’s ludicrously sledgehammer, nuance-blind ‘porn’ filters…

… those shitty filters forced me to abandon what I wanted to pursue, and pursue something, anything else, I was able to pursue, away from the unfair censorship. I chose nice, safe shapes…

… I am now right back at the beginning, again, as far as the efficacy of my prompts goes…

… Mj clearly does not have such an ‘intuitive’ grasp of geometrical/abstract shapes as it has of human beauty…

… so the results, for me, so far, have been very uneven. That’s not to say some of them aren’t quite nice (:

An End… A Beginning

Sadly, I have decided to stop pursuing my beautiful Machine Dolls. This isn’t because I want to stop developing them, but because I am thoroughly sick of Mj/Discord continually accusing me of creating pornography, and blocking me from developing the work it initially allows me to create. I still have lots of gorgeous images of them to show you, but will no longer be creating new ones. Instead, I will be creating shapes…

… nice, safe shapes that Mj/Discord surely cannot find obscene…

… once I got over my genuine disgust at being prevented from pursuing the subject I wanted to pursue, I quickly got into the enjoyment of creating these objects…

… I have nothing at all against this kind of abstract art…

… and am now totally free to develop it in any direction, and as fast as I like doing, without fear of getting sneering/smarmy messages insinuating that I am a pervert, when what I was creating was gorgeous art, not gutter-level sleaze…

… so, thanks, Mj/Discord, for setting me on this new path with your bizarre, wildly inaccurate, blanket censorship that I am sure probably doesn’t stop anyone from actually creating porn, judging by some of the rubbish, created in Mj, that I have seen posted on Flickr…

… so, forward on the journey of abstract shapes it is, then…

… I’m already loving them…

… I’ve only been doing them for a few hours, and see plenty of scope for unhindered iterative development.
