There are a lot of gorgeous art deco houses (and commercial buildings) in Whanganui. Where we live there are just a lot of gorgeous old houses… part of the enjoyment of our early dawn walks is looking at these places as we pass… living rooms already (still?) awash in the flicker of monstrous wall screens, cats on door-steps waiting to be let in…
… but it’s always lovely to get back to the equally-gorgeous splendour of the sinuous, muscular Whanganui River as it winds it’s way through our home town (:

I did a double-take on that first photo, wondering if it was a Second Life build. š¤Ŗ I would definitely look right on one of the Bellisaria lands, though I suspect even with the generous Linden Home land allowance it might be a bit pokey for some. š

Great sunrise there! One week, I decided to rate the sunrise each day. I gave a higher score for color, clouds, or jet trails, but the highest score came when I could see the moon hanging around, low in the sky.
