Yesterday, Seraphim acquired this super-cute ‘Mushroom Village’…
… she was visiting a store called ‘Ever Green‘, for the first time, and saw this straight after she arrived, and was instantly smitten with it…
… it’s a tiny, animated village…
… adorable little critters do adorable things… a dog chases a cat, a sheep goes for a blast on a skateboard, a frog rides a duck…
… when the windmill stops spinning, an owl flies out of a tree, and restarts it, by landing on the highest vane, and causing it to slowly rotate downwards… then the owl flies off to another tree…
… Seraphim thinks it’s one of the most delightful things she’s ever seen in SL.
Seraphim was on the third floor of her new home, decorating one of the rooms in a deliberately minimalist way. She decided to go downstairs. The third floor is the last place she’s really focused on, since she bought her new home, a few months back, now. It is all quite spartan, compared to the two floors beneath it…
… some rooms are almost empty…
… as you approach the stairs, more decoration becomes the norm…
… and as you descend the beautiful, red marble stairs, you descend into a world of art and decoration…
Seraphim was in a frivolous mood, this morning. She decided to go to Katat0nik, somewhere she’s not been for a long time, but one of her all-time fave SL creators, from way back. After looking to see what was new, she found a gacha she’d not seen/noticed, before… it was for ‘Happy Kitty Dolls’. There were 3 ‘rares’, one of which was red, and was the one she liked most. She put in L$50… and won the red rare! First shot! This often happens to her, but it’s still, always, an absolute delight when it does! With her new happy kitty snuggled in the crook of her arm, she decided to go shopping, another thing she’s neglected, lately…
… she checked the sales and went and bought some excellent, cheap hair, two, to be precise, one with a ‘cat’ beanie, and the fabulous ‘big’ hair she has on, above. She decided she needed a gold tiara to match her mood, so bought one of those, too! Then she took her kitty pal to The Coasters Club…
… a sim with wonderful, minimal scenery, and wide, shallow, empty ocean vistas…
… ‘please don’t drop me…’ her kitty meowed…
… ‘I absolutely will not, sweetheart’ she replied…
… when they got home, her new kitty instantly adopted one of Seri’s mannequins as his new safe place.
… there are lots of sculptures, both kinetic and static…
… lots of particle effects…
… some more interactive than others in their behaviour…
… but it was this photo ‘Trilby The Pixie’ that Seri had come here for. She’d seen it in a post on Annie Oh’s destination guide, and been instantly smitten…
… now, Trilby The Pixie smiles her blissful smile on the wall, upstairs at Seri’s place (:
Following a suggestion from Kyllerdurden, who had obviously seen her blog, Seraphim visited ‘Garden of Eden‘, last evening…
… while she was waiting for things to rez, Adelina (adelinalawrence), the sim’s creator, greeted her, and they had a brief chat before Seri went off to explore… Adelina was a sweet host… she explained that Garden of Eden was still under construction, but it looked pretty complete to Seri…
… there is lots to see, here, plenty of pretty places for photography…
… forest paths…
… the sky is filled with interesting things, like islands, and dragons, and balloons…
Seraphim visited The 22 Art Space in Bellisseria, today. The gallery is a converted house in a frighteningly suburban neighbourhood… Seri was surprised such a surreal suburbia didn’t have a covenant preventing houses being converted to galleries, but glad it didn’t, because the gallery is a lovely space. There are several excellent works in the current retrospective exhibition…
… beautifully displayed in the space…
… the views out the windows were like surreal-realist works of art, in themselves…
… with their impossible suburban utopia views…
… the whole space made for very enjoyable shooting…
