Trilby The Pixie

Seraphim visited the Peace Is A Choice Gallery, last evening…

… there are lots of sculptures, both kinetic and static…

… lots of particle effects…

… some more interactive than others in their behaviour…

… but it was this photo ‘Trilby The Pixie’ that Seri had come here for. She’d seen it in a post on Annie Oh’s destination guide, and been instantly smitten…

… now, Trilby The Pixie smiles her blissful smile on the wall, upstairs at Seri’s place (:

Garden of Eden

Following a suggestion from Kyllerdurden, who had obviously seen her blog, Seraphim visited ‘Garden of Eden‘, last evening…

… while she was waiting for things to rez, Adelina (adelinalawrence), the sim’s creator, greeted her, and they had a brief chat before Seri went off to explore… Adelina was a sweet host… she explained that Garden of Eden was still under construction, but it looked pretty complete to Seri…

… there is lots to see, here, plenty of pretty places for photography…

… forest paths…

… the sky is filled with interesting things, like islands, and dragons, and balloons…

… there are little glades, and vast panoramas…

… well worth a visit.

The 22 Art Space in Bellisseria

Seraphim visited The 22 Art Space in Bellisseria, today. The gallery is a converted house in a frighteningly suburban neighbourhood… Seri was surprised such a surreal suburbia didn’t have a covenant preventing houses being converted to galleries, but glad it didn’t, because the gallery is a lovely space. There are several excellent works in the current retrospective exhibition…

… beautifully displayed in the space…

… the views out the windows were like surreal-realist works of art, in themselves…

… with their impossible suburban utopia views…

… the whole space made for very enjoyable shooting…

… beautiful art in beautiful surroundings…

… Seraphim was impressed.

Bellezzamora

Seraphim visited Bellezzamora, last evening…

… she was straight away crippled by lag/slow rez time. When things did finally rez, moving amongst them was very frustrating. She tended to just wait till the place was rezzed, then just stand where she was, and pan around…

… she had seen Bellezzamora advertised as a place of ‘opulence and grandeur’, that housed some kind of fabulous art collection…

… the very British/colonial opulence/grandeur was immediately apparent, and quite beautiful…

… Seraphim has never seen this particular building, before, that she can recall, or even it’s components, really… so it was lovely to see something so stunning, but also for the first time…

… if the grounds were any indication of it’s grandiose opulence, Seri was looking forward to seeing the mystery art collection…

… unfortunately, by the time she made it through the lag swamp, to the front door, she’d decided to come back another time.
