I needed to recalibrate the gyros on my camera drone…
… and make sure it’s night-time pathfinding abilities were still accurate…
… so I went on a midnight spin with it, last night…
… gliding silently through my little, magical Queendom…
… checking out the nightlife…
… the beautiful things that I protect…
… who have always been safe here…
… sleeping peacefully in their beds…
… not even noticing as my nano-drone hovers silently around them…
… my drone’s senses picked up every little rustle, every chirping night insect…
… I zeroed in on my wonderful little Fae-on-a-toadstool…
… she was contentedly looking at the stars.
