Zen…

… garden.

After reading this post, Seraphim, inspired by the gorgeous photographs, decided to have a look for herself. The first thing that struck her, after landing on the beach, were the strange clouds… she’d never seen these in SL, before. They were obviously some extra layer of ‘weather’ added on to the sim… they looked great when the sky was clear, but clashed with the SL clouds, and seriously clashed with certain types of tree, causing them to appear in front of the tree, which was just plain weird…

… odd clouds aside, the sim was beautiful, full of a wide variety of high-end buildings…

… the ones Seraphim checked ranged in price from one the same as the one above (she didn’t check this ones price, being more interested in the beautiful car outside it) which was L$7500 a week, with 5000 prims, to ones that were L$50 a week, with 200 prims. As someone who has rented a few places in SL, for galleries, Seraphim is pretty sure L$50 a week, with 200 prims is a bargain!…

… which is why she couldn’t resist renting 1 Lois Lane! Most of the time Seraphim was looking around, she was talking to the only other avatar in the sim, who had also come here after reading Alexa’s post! Emelia also was blown away by the lovely sim, and the low prices, and she, also, rented a place. Seraphim invited her for a tour of her new rental…

… of which Emelia was suitably impressed. The two talked for a while, then Amelia had to go, leaving Seri to wander around some more, until…

… she found THIS fabulous place (16 Pearl Place), also only L$50 a week! What was a girl to do, she’d hate for this lovely sim to vanish for want of clients, so she rented it, too!…

… she’s really looking forward to decorating them both, but especially this one, as the internal space is very gallery-like, just what our girl loves most (:

Seraphim visited Yorkshire today…

… the sim is beautiful, with a pond, a train, and various buildings…

… but it was the stunning sky…

… and gorgeous, wild meadow that Seraphim loved.

Seraphim visited FaNg Sanctuary Island, today. She expected a dark, goth/vampire type place, and that’s what it was, initially…

… it’s billed as the ‘best swamp in Second Life’, so Seraphim headed away from the castley bits, looking for the swamp area… she’d set the recommended windlight, and really liked the old master, oil paint-like colours the light highlighted. She found the swamp, but kept going…

… the forest, in it’s rich, oil-colour hues, was beautiful… she kept exploring…

… and was genuinely surprised to find this idyllic stream and forest glade…

… she hadn’t really expected this kind of old-world forest beauty…

… the place was gorgeous, in a dark kind of way, as if Hansel and Gretel might come round the bend in the trail, having just escaped the cannibal witch…

… but that didn’t happen, she had all this beauty to herself.

Seraphim went to the latest eBento event, today, and bought a gorgeous little dance called, incredibly provocatively: VARACDAN008…

… she’s been practising it almost non-stop since she got it…

… because it’s just the cutest little dance she’s ever bought…

… and it makes her feel wonderful…

… so she’s just a dancing fool…

… currently.

Whenever Seraphim visits an ‘event’, if there is one, she always checks out the surrounding area, ever the explorer… she visited the ‘Flourish’ event, this morning, then checked it’s surrounding landscape… which was a beautiful gem called ‘Cooper River’. The uplands were quite lush, in a dry, desert-palette way…

… but the lowlands were just plain empty…

… in a beautiful, desolate kind of way that spoke of dead-end stories…

… and meaningless liaisons…

… in a place everyone would rather forget.

Seraphim took Zoey to see Tee’s new project, today. It’s a deliciously creepy, Twilight Zone-like ‘museum’, dedicated to the ‘statuefication’ of, apparently, hapless victims…

… there is a suspicious purple mist outside, that seems responsible for immobilising several innocent bystanders, and turning them into plastic mannequins… Zoey was very nervous, but Seraphim is basically fearless, and promised to protect her kitten, which helped calm Zoey a bit…

… inside there were many lovely dolls and mannequins…

… all very shiny and freshly-moulded looking… Zoey stayed very close to Seraphim…

… out the back, there was a lovely garden… Zoey relaxed a bit, when Seraphim pointed out that all these ones actually were just innocent statues…

… they both agreed the place was creepy with fairly obvious sexual overtones… just like most horror stories.

Seraphim has her baby back…

… all she wants to do, is kiss her, and cuddle her…

… gently stroke her soft ears, and listen to her purr.

Seraphim has finished her second Alita painting. It took a bit longer than she thought it would… there was a lot of colour blending involved. As always, she could keep polishing it, but decided it was time to stop, while it still looked like a painting.

Yesterday, Seraphim went to the little house she built for her and Zoey, to water the plants. She’s not spent much time there, since Zoey vanished, and since she moved all Zoey’s stuff into the shed…

… she noticed the lights were on, and was just thinking she must have forgotten to turn them off, when she heard a familiar purring…

… she turned in dis-belief to the pink pod-chair, just inside the door, and there, curled up and purring in her sleep…

… was an exhausted, but very happy, Zoey. Seraphim just about burst out crying… instead, she said ‘Hello, sleeping beauty’, which instantly woke Zoey, who sprang out of the chair to hug her Mistress… ‘Where the fuck have you been, baby?’ asked Seraphim, standing back to look at her lost girl…

… Zoey explained that, due to her human’s router being faulty, she had been stuck outside the cyber-door to SL, scratching and yowling for nearly two months, trying to get back to Seraphim, and she was sooo sorry she’d caused her Mistress such hurt…

… the two of them talked for a long time, Seri saying she knew it must have been just as hard for Zoey, being shut out in cyberspace all that time, but that it would take a while for Seraphim to come right, having gone so long not knowing where her kitten had gone, or why, or if she’d ever see her again. Zoey said she totally understood that, and was fine with it, as long as she got kisses to make up for the ones she’d missed out on for the last two months. Seraphim said that sounded ok to her, and kissed her baby.
