Seraphim is wearing ‘Doris’ hair, by Adoness…
… she recently received an Adoness ‘Blogger Pack’, with several hair styles in it, each a different colour range…
… if you know Seri, you know black, white, and pink are her favourite clothing/hair colours…
… as ‘Doris’ was the only ‘greyscale’ style, she was drawn to it, first…
… like all the Adoness hair she has tried, so far, it is nicely dramatic…
… a style for all those occasions that you don’t want to wear a beanie.
The other Adoness hair that Seraphim bought, the other day, was this one, ‘Macaria’…
… as with ‘Ares‘, this hair manages to blend several styles, from something that wouldn’t have looked out of place in Marie Antoinette’s court, to darkest goth, via the 50’s, this hair is not for girls who don’t want to be noticed…
… Seraphim prefers greyscales, but this hair is available in most colours. Another wonderful thing came from Seraphim meeting Cruella Pennell at the Tannenbaum event, the other day…
…Seraphim is now, officially, an Adoness blogger! Seri has never blogged for anyone other than herself, and is quite excited to be blogging for such an awesome brand as Adoness. She’s not quite sure exactly what this involves, being a total noob at the ‘official blogger’ thing, but it seems to her it will be a lot of fun…
… she adores the product, and the talent behind the product, Cruella Pennell, seems lovely, not to mention extremely clever, Seraphim would promote Adoness hair regardless…
… she’s looking forward to embracing this new, interesting change in her life.

… although she’s pleased with the little fantasy world she created, here, the shoot took far longer than she had intended…
… it’s been a learning curve about the parameters of setting up such a shoot…
… she won’t get so carried away, next time…
… that being said, she very much enjoyed setting up this little world…
… a world she would happily live in…
… a world where everything is cute, adorable, beautiful and whimsical…
… and where there is art and cleverness everywhere (:
Seraphim was at an event, this morning, when she was drawn to a gorgeous, goth avi, with stunning hair. As she does, Seri checked the avi’s profile, so she could say hi…
… she saw that the avi was Cruella Pennell, the owner of Adoness. Whilst Seri and Cruella had a conversation, Seri TP’d to Adoness, and was blown away by the quality of the advertising art, there. She also realised she’d been here, years ago, and purchased one of her most-worn hair-styles, back in the day. She grabbed six demo’s, and zapped home to try them. Two really appealed to her, the first was this one, ‘Ares’…
… she thinks this hair is simply fabulous. Somehow, it manages to be classical, cyber, punk, rockabilly, and Japanese, all at the same time…
… she loves it.*
*Seri had to do a bit of adjustment to get this hair the way she wanted, which included using her Catwa hairbase, so the hair will look slightly different if you don’t need to use a hairbase.
Seraphim took time from her work on ‘Whimsical Eclectic’, to visit the Fusion sim…
… she found a beautiful, very Asian-themed sim…
… with pretty, industrial/commercial spaces…
… and items by many of her favourite creators, lovingly incorporated into the general aesthetic…
… the whole sim has a clean, modern look/feel…
… with traditional elements mixed in…
… Seraphim particularly liked all the vintage posters…
… Fusion is a beautiful, elegant work.
Seraphim feels she was both successful and unsuccessful with her latest project. She thoroughly enjoyed the several days of tinkering it took to create this scene, and she is equally pleased with the result…
… however, it was her plan to then do the whole thing in one, eight shot shoot…
… but she has made the whole scene so delightfully detail-rich…
… that her eight-shot maximum…
… barely got her in the front door…
… before all the glorious detail ensnared her camera…
… and she didn’t even complete shooting the first floor…
… and there are two more to go!
Seraphim is working on her next ‘still life’… her most ambitious, yet. This one involves an entire, 3-floor building! Initially, when Seri first started doing these ‘still life’ images, she was inspired by the works of people like Alexa, whose fabulous, single-shot tableaus she really admired, so she was trying to do something similar, but… this is Seri we are talking about…
… the girl LOVES serial imagery, she simply couldn’t contain herself within the single-picture format. Now, with this latest work, she has found she is seriously stretching the initial format parameters…
… this latest work is going to be more like a single-shot camera pan, than a single shot image. Seri is very much enjoying creating these works, and hopes you are enjoying seeing them (:
Today, Seraphim visited the latest Drune iteration. The first thing she noticed was her profile picture, without her permission, up on the over-head display… she couldn’t care less, but found the lack of etiquette pretty disappointing…
… the sim was, like previous Drune sims, a glory of neon eye-candy…
… also, like the previous Drunes, there was the juvenile obsession with sexual themes…
… as though the sim was built by genius 13 year-old boys…
… whose sophisticated visual aesthetic was continually over-ridden by their desire to masturbate…
… but, when she thought about it, Seri had to admit that this is a fairly common phenomenon in SL…
… and, that if you have to have sims built by wankers…
… the wankers might as well be genius 13 year-old boys.
