Salt Water

SaltWater

Seraphim visited the ‘Salt Water’ sim, yesterday. She arrived in a torrential, thundery tropical downpour…

SaltWater2

… but, once she got clear of the landing zone, the rain disappeared, and she was in a beautiful, pre-twilight paradise…

SaltWater3

… she made her way down to the shore…

SaltWater4

… the sun was arrested at sunset…

SaltWater5

… and the clouds were in constant motion across it’s blazing face…

SaltWater6

… the sea was awash with golds, reds, and yellows…

SaltWater7

… and seabirds wheeled above the waves.

Pandume Portrait

PaniPortraitPost09072018_0001

Seraphim took hundreds of pictures of Pandume. She really likes these three…

PaniPortraitPost09072018_0002

… Seraphim has known Pandume a few years, now. When they first met, Pandume was a fire-demon… she was literally made of molten, burning magma, and she floated above the ground, and did lazy flips… she was definitely in the 2% of extreme avatar incarnations…

PaniPortraitPost09072018_0003

… although she has always had the same, lovely personality, Seraphim by far prefers Pandume’s current incarnation (:

Seraphim & Pandume

Seri&Pani

Seraphim hasn’t seen her lovely, demon friend, Pandume, for months. The two of them have crossed paths, via IM, during that time, but today was the first time they’d actually hung out together for ages…

Seri&Pani2

… so, of course, it made perfect sense that they spent quality time together in Seri’s new game corner, which Pandume hadn’t seen. Pandume has changed her look, now sporting an extremely impressive array of horns…

Seri&Pani3

… the two friends talked about all kinds of stuff, including missing friends of Seraphim…

Seri&Pani4

… whilst they both hammered away at Unicorn Attack, and Ninja Kittens…

Seri&Pani5

… till Seri decided it was time to drag Pandume away…

Seri&Pani6

… and get her in the photo booth, so she could take a decent profile picture for her. Seraphim thinks Pandume is gorgeous… like a young, demonic Mona Lisa (:

Morph Studios

Morph

Seraphim visited Morph Studios, today. Morph Studios is billed as a store that has ‘got all you need to be a little sexy demongirl’, it’s all about tentacles and the sort of embellishments that Seraphim has zero interest in, but it also has a scenic sim surrounding it… the blurb says ‘Don’t by [sic] shy to explore the island. Beautiful nature where you can find some mystic spots. But nothing to be afraid, just a peaceful place to relax without scare.’…

Morph2

… and that’s exactly what Seraphim found. The store was full of someone’s idea of erotic attachments/apparel for ‘little sexy demongirl’, but the sim was beautiful, with a surprising amount of pure sweetness, like the sleeping bambi beside Seri… Seri hung around to make sure the giant octopus wasn’t going to try eating it, but it didn’t…

Morph3

… there were, of course, a lot of tentacular goings on, but they were quite photogenic, and even funny, like the much smaller octopus in the barrel behind Seri…

Morph4

… she went with the sim’s recommended Windlight, which had a nice comic book feel…

Morph5

… and she spent a good hour, wandering around, finding lots of beautiful spots…

Morph6

… and interesting scenes. These barrels reminded Seri of the book ‘Robinson Crusoe’, a book Seri’s human read, as a child, at least 50 years ago, that child had only seen 2 movies (The Sound of Music, and Flipper), and hardly any television, and the story of Robinson Crusoe just flooded it’s empty little mind with visions of Crusoe’s marvelous adventures, which were, of course, the ultimate shipwreck fantasy, where virtually anything Crusoe could possibly have needed, gets washed ashore for him, mostly in barrels, so it’s all perfectly edible, or, in the case of the container of leaf tobacco, perfectly smokable… Crusoe cures himself of some sickness using tobacco smoke! He also gets dozens of rifles, gunpowder, ammunition, knives, hammers, nails, rope… you get the picture. When the book was first published, in 1719, people thought it was a true story.

Oubliette & Petite Mort

Oubliette&PetiteMort

Seraphim has been shopping at the Oubliette and Petite Mort, sister stores, for years… she only realised, today, that their sim has a photographers delight aspect to it, called Witchwood…

Oubliette&PetiteMort2

… which, once she gave it a seconds thought, wasn’t too surprising, that the makers of such gorgeous gothic attire, would also have the skill/taste, to craft such a beautiful photographic environment…

Oubliette&PetiteMort3

… she spent a good half hour wandering around, checking it all out…

Oubliette&PetiteMort4

… feeling totally in her element, being a goth girl from way back…

Oubliette&PetiteMort5

… and a photographer for ever…

Oubliette&PetiteMort6

… this was a lovely discovery (:

Burlap

Burlap

This evening, Seraphim visited Cica Ghost’s Burlap…

Burlap2

… she loved the palette, and the sky…

Burlap3

… she’s always found Cica Ghost’s characters a little too creepy to be likeable, but she found most of the ones here to be quite likeable, in a whimsically heroic way…

Burlap4

… this enormous catfish actually borders on being cute…

Burlap5a

… and this staunch lion dude, with his bag of chips, was pretty cool.

31 Revisited

100L

Seraphim revisited her floor in the ‘100 Levels’ project, this morning, to see how it’s developing… there are now 29 floors above hers, these are some of her favourites…

100L2

100L3

100L4

100L5

… several of the new floors have audio, and the place is now a babel of sounds, a mixture of meowing cats, splashing water, 1920’s French music, and a loud, steady heartbeat, among other sounds.

Faerie Dance

FD

Seraphim visited Enchantment at Leloo’s World, the other day. There were birdies…

FD2

… and bunnies…

FD3

… and a cute little blue Fae, who asked Seri if she’d dance with her…

FD4

… and so the two non-humans danced up a storm of Faeriedust…

FD5

… so much, it made even Seri a bit dizzy. Had Seri been mortal, who knows what price that dance would have caused her, but, as she isn’t, it just made her light-headed for a bit. The little blue Fae was surprised, but gracious enough to thank Seri for the dance… she asked Seri what she was, and why was she immune to magic?… but Seri just gave a dizzy laugh, and wandered off to talk to the bunnies.
