Seraphim and Pandume were hanging out at each others places, today, when Seri suddenly remembered it was the deadline for collecting her stuff from her unit in the ‘100 Levels’ project, in Kowloon… still dressed in her redecorating clothes, Seri asked Pandume if she wanted to come, too. Pandume did, so they zapped over to the unit, and Seraphim took everything back, leaving her beautiful landscape painting for last. ‘Isn’t this amazing?’ she asked Pandume… ‘Yes, it’s pretty’ replied Pandume…

… this wasn’t quite the answer Seraphim had expected, and she smilingly asked her friend ‘You aren’t really into art, are you, sweetheart?’ Pandume admitted she wasn’t really all that into it, no… and got a bit of a lecture from Seraphim the passionate artist about how MOST people she met weren’t into art, either, but it was ok, she was used to it. Seraphim then said ‘But, how about them RedSox, eh!?’ and Pandume replied ‘Go sports team! Score all the goal units!’ and the two fell about laughing. Seraphim asked Pandume if she’d been to Kowloon, before, and Pandume said she hadn’t…

… something Seri knew had to instantly be remedied! Pandume was suitably impressed, and the two friends wandered off to explore…

… loitering in seedy places…

… and dark alleyways…

… and they both found cool, ridiculously cheap stuff to buy in this strange, beautiful slice of Asian weirdness that is the wonderful, seamy world of Kowloon.

Seraphim took Pandume to visit her Last Drop Cafe installation, today…

… she hadn’t told Pandume that Pandume’s portrait was on the wall. Pandume was delighted…

… Pandume also liked how cosy Seraphim had made the cafe, particularly liking the worn old couch…

… this made Seri happy, because she had gone for a worn, cosy feel to the place…

… the two friends curled up on the couch…

… and chatted beneath the beneficent gaze of Pandume’s portrait.

Seraphim took hundreds of pictures of Pandume. She really likes these three…

… Seraphim has known Pandume a few years, now. When they first met, Pandume was a fire-demon… she was literally made of molten, burning magma, and she floated above the ground, and did lazy flips… she was definitely in the 2% of extreme avatar incarnations…

… although she has always had the same, lovely personality, Seraphim by far prefers Pandume’s current incarnation (:

Seraphim hasn’t seen her lovely, demon friend, Pandume, for months. The two of them have crossed paths, via IM, during that time, but today was the first time they’d actually hung out together for ages…

… so, of course, it made perfect sense that they spent quality time together in Seri’s new game corner, which Pandume hadn’t seen. Pandume has changed her look, now sporting an extremely impressive array of horns…

… the two friends talked about all kinds of stuff, including missing friends of Seraphim…

… whilst they both hammered away at Unicorn Attack, and Ninja Kittens…

… till Seri decided it was time to drag Pandume away…

… and get her in the photo booth, so she could take a decent profile picture for her. Seraphim thinks Pandume is gorgeous… like a young, demonic Mona Lisa (:

Seraphim doesn’t have many ‘friends’, she seldom accepts ‘friend’ requests… she believes a ‘friend’ is someone who actually thinks about you, and who contacts you occasionally… who actually wants to talk to you and, even more rarely, hang out with you… if she accepts your ‘friend’ request, then you never talk to her, unless she contacts you, first, after a few months, she’ll ‘unfriend’ you, because you were never her friend, were you…

… her three closest friends are Zoey, Luna, and Pandume… these three are the friends who she actually hung out with, who actually shared stuff with her, went places with her… there was a time when the four of them were always together. Unfortunately, unlike Seraphim, who is very much a creature of disciplined routine, her friends are not, and they are often absent from SL for long periods of time, Luna and Pandume in particular. Pandume has a castle, just down the road from Seraphim, and, although Pandume has been absent from SL for months, as she does, Seraphim regularly visits her castle, just to make sure it’s still there… today, she had, literally, just walked in, when Pandume logged on!…

… Seri was delighted to see her lovely, succubus friend, again…

… Seri told Pandume how much the neighbourhood had changed, since she was last here, and about how she’d been coming here, regularly, all the time Pandume was gone, just to make sure it was still here, and to just be here, because she loves Pandume’s place…

… it was so nice seeing her, again, and so trippy that she’d appeared, just as Seri walked in (:
