There are two Stargate networks in SL, the Astria Porta Open Stargate Network…

… and the Alteran Stargate Network. Seraphim has two gates on her gate platform, one from each network. Currently the two networks are not linked. Seraphim has had her Opengate for years, had actually lost interest in it, and packed it away…

… then z0zo came through a nearby Alteran Stargate, and Seraphims life was changed, forever.

Lia lives in a little house she built on z0zo’s land. Z0zo accidentally caused Lia’s house to be deleted from her land. Seraphim was talking to Lia, via IM, and Lia said she was building a new house. Seraphim asked if she could come and watch, because she hadn’t seen Lia for a day, and missed her. When she arrived, Lia was building her new house… dressed like this…

… to say Seraphim was astonished would be putting it mildly. In all the short time she has known her little fox warrior friend, Seraphim has only ever seen her dressed in practical clothing, often armour, often carrying her enormous scythe. She has never seen Lia dressed like a 50’s pinup…

… Seraphim had only come for a short visit, to see her friend, and see what she built. Seraphim has absolutely no idea what Lia built… because she couldn’t take her eyes off Lia…

… she has no idea why Lia was dressed like this, she didn’t think to ask, she was too busy being amazed and delighted.

Seraphim is currently showing some work by Ixalea (Ixalea from Maganito(maganito)), an artist Seraphim met during one of her gallery explorations…

Seraphim has not only found a new gynoid to photograph, she has found an avatar who has only recently converted to gynoid. This is Mirari, a DAX3 pleasure unit…

… Seraphim found Mirari to be, like most NS courtesan/companion/pleasure units she has talked to, very easy to talk to, and very willing to be photographed…

… Seraphim is looking forward to seeing Mirari again, so she can ask her some questions about what it means to become gynoid, and why she made that decision.

Seraphim and Lia are friends still/again. They both like each other a lot. Despite their recent clash, this never changed. They both put a lot of energy into resolving their clash. Seraphim is, despite her hardness, totally at the mercy of her emotions once she commits herself to loving someone… this is proving to be an impairment to her reasoning powers, at times. She said something that irritated Lia. A lot. Lia is a combat droid, she has a combat-mode personality that takes control of her emotions when she gets past a certain level of irritation… it is this personality Seraphim recently witnessed, not a schizoid manifestation, but a command manifestation, triggered by Seraphim’s behaviour. It took a while for Lia to articulate that this was what had happened, because, for her, nothing had happened, and she couldn’t understand why Seraphim was so upset. The two of them circled each other for hours, slowly falling back into what has become a lovely, comforting orbit. An orbit that actually does allow for communication… and that is what they did.

Seraphim told Lia she doesn’t have a crush on her, anymore. This is probably not true.

When Seraphim was with z0zo, she eventually identified two prime personalities… one she called ‘gentle z0zo’, the other, she called ‘evil z0zo’. They were distinctly different people. One was kind, caring, and warm… the other was cold, robotic and aloof. She has, to her horror, just encountered that same phenomena in Lia. She doesn’t know what this means for their friendship, but she is not hopeful.

She doesn’t know if this is something unique to NS gynoids, or just the two she has been attracted to. What she does know is that it killed her crush for Lia stone dead. Once again she has opened her heart to a gynoid, and, once again, she has been hurt.

Seraphim often visits Eisa Colony, the home of Nanite Systems, where all the NS gynoids come from. She loves the futuristic build, there. But, much more than that, she loves all the gorgeous gynoids that can be found there. Outside the entrance to the main retail area, there are stands that available pleasure units wait on. These are always a source of photographic delight for Seraphim. This is unit K4ya 888-11-8532…

… she is a 1.5 year old, SXDjr companion unit. This is the first time Seraphim has seen her. K4ya was happy to be photographed, but went off-line during the process, before Seraphim could ask her about her mask. That will have to wait till another time…

… many NS gynoids have horns. They are both decorative and functional. ‘Users’ can touch the horns, to pull up a menu of possible behaviours they can make the unit perform. The ability to have this control depends on the access the unit herself has granted the ‘user’. Unlike the ‘slave’ culture, in SL, which is also an RLV system, and open to abuse, the gynoid RLV system can ultimately be over-ridden by the unit, if she feels unsafe.

Things have been as hard for Seraphim as they have ever been, recently…

… but she is getting better. She is tougher than she looks, and she actually looks pretty tough.

Lia is a fox… literally; she has fox ears, a fox’s tail, and the small, sleek build of a fox…

… at first, Seraphim thought Lia was a Furry, but Lia does not identify with that ilk, preferring, simply, to call herself a fox… an NS-476 Aegis fox…
