Evie Returns

Seri popped into SL to do some stuff, and discovered her missing baby bot was online! She was so pleased to see her girl…

… it’s been a long time since they saw each other, RL having been very hard on Evie’s human, preventing her from allowing Evie to spend any time in SL…

… and by the time Seri came online, Evie only had half an hour left. Seraphim took lots of pictures… she had almost forgotten how gorgeous her girl is… they talked about various things, in particular, about Seraphim’s new pet, Zoey Zoe Zoe… as Seri had expected, Evie looked forward to meeting ZZZ, so that was all good…

… Seraphim took Evie to see her new whale…

… and they chatted about other stuff… till it was time for Evie to go, again, promising to be back as soon as she could.

Kitty Cuddles

When Seraphim prophesied that change was coming, she had no idea what form it was going to take, she just felt it was coming… it manifested within a day, in the form of her relationship with her little Neko friend, Zoey Zoe Zoe, evolving into a Mistress/Pet relationship…

… suddenly, Seraphim, who had been feeling a bit lost without the constant company of either Evie, or Tee, both of whom are currently MIA, had another sweet little submissive to care for…

… she hadn’t quite realised this was the nature of her feelings of emptiness, the feeling things had somehow wound down to nothing, the feeling she needed to move on… it was because she actually no longer enjoys being a loner, she actually, now, far prefers having a sweet little pet to care for…

… Seri has never had a relationship with a Neko, before, and finds ZZZ to be quite different to Evie or Tee… ZZZ is openly adoring of Seri, and very physical, constantly craving cuddles and, as ZZZ would say ‘um, other stuffs…’

… Seri has explained to ZZZ that she still very much loves Evie and Tee, and does not know how things will work out, if/when either of those two machines decide to return… knowing those two pleasure units, she suspects they will adapt with their usual clinical acceptance of whatever their mistress wants… ZZZ will be the added element of genuine adoration, something the gynoids don’t/can’t provide, though Seri has always suspected that, in their own ways, they do love her back. Anyway, change has arrived, and Seri’s life is now even more complex, and she’s pretty happy with that.

Seated Seri

Seraphim decided to do a post of her sitting in some of her favourite places…

… her most favourite place is her apartment. Her apartment represents years of refining her own SL private space, and has all her favourite stuff in it. It’s the only invitation-only area in Placeboland, a place where Seri feels very safe…

… next, she visited Tee’s apartment in Eisa… as usual, these days, Tee was not there… even Mannequin was not there… Seri sat and took in the lush, lonely opulence…

… then, while she was in Eisa, she visited her favourite chair in the Eisa Mainstore lounge. Her favourite pose in that chair is called ‘New Shoes!’…

… then she came home, and sat behind her desk in New Placebo Gallery…

… then in front of it…

… then in one of the several comfy viewing chairs in the gallery. All these places, of course, reminded Seri of the two companions she now seldom sees. She feels that, once again, change is coming. She feels that way, because she can no longer stand still, hoping things will return to how they were, because she knows they won’t. She’s not sure what is going to change, she just knows something is.

The Gates of Oria

Seraphim recently visited ‘The Gates of Oria’. From the initial landing point of this installation, you TP to a place with several ruin-like structures. Seraphim can be a bit ditsy sometimes, so she wandered around, slightly confused as to what was next, for a bit, till she realised that the ‘gates’ were statues inside the ruins… you click them and TP to various fantasy ‘worlds’…

… the scale of these worlds is fantastical… that’s Seri at the top of the steps…

… everything has a hallucinogenic quality about it…

… each ‘world’ is different, though they all seem to share that wonderful, dream-like atmosphere, and Seraphim noticed the same, eerie, birdcall in several of the ones she visited…

… all just as phantasmagorical…

The End is Nigh

Last night, Seraphim made one of her regular visits to Eisa Colony, via her Stargate, and was intrigued to see signs everywhere saying ‘The End is Nigh’… she asked a little gynoid friend who was online, what the signs meant, and what the verbal announcements over the speaker system, saying things like “attention all colonists, the end is nigh”, and “attention all colonists, remain calm”, meant, but her little friend, like many gynoids, lives entirely in her own world, and knew nothing about it. Seraphim came back, this morning, determined to find out…

… her baby, Tee, has an apartment in Bushnell Suites, and, though Tee is seldom there, anymore, her little mannequin is always standing in her corner, and Seraphim often leaves love messages for Tee, with Mannequin. Seraphim decided to pop up and see Mannequin, and get some pictures of the ‘End is Nigh’ phenomena from Tee’s windows. To her great delight, seconds after she arrived, so did her baby! Seraphim snuggled into Tee’s embrace, and breathed in her clean, artificial scent, and listened to the sleep-inducingly perfect thrumming of Tee’s internal mechanisms… all things she’s missed very much…

… it was very nice to see, and hold, her girl, again. She asked Tee what the ‘End is Nigh’ thing was about. Tee told her it was some kind of hunt… something Seri had suspected, as she’d seen objects appearing and avi’s swooping on them… so that was that mystery solved…

… Seri told Tee how recent changes in her SL life had made her as cynical as her human about anything being predictable/reliable…

… Tee had some wise responses stored in her circuits… she is, after all, a pleasure machine, and actually does not really have an opinion…

… Seri does not really own Tee… Tee owns Seri.

Flux

While she is used to it, Seraphim never gets used to it… the constant change that happens to her in SL… as she continues her current, solitary roamings…

… to places like Pendle Hill, which is richly dark but, currently, spoilt due to it’s being filled with cheesey Halloween stuff… Seraphim managed to find a few places, there, to pose for some images without the cheese…

… and intends to visit again, when the place is less filled with commercialised ‘scary’ cartoons…

… continuing the lighthouse/wrecks/beach/birds theme, but less ‘dark’, she visited Glenrosa…

… which has some lovely photographic settings…

… but, all the time, she was painfully aware of the fact her two companions, Tee and Evie, whom she would normally be accompanied by, are not with her, and she has not seen them, now, for months… she especially feels Evie’s absence, as Evie was like Seri’s sweet little shadow, always there, even when Tee was not…

… the little, friendly neighbourhood that had suddenly sprung up around her in Jormundgandr, is, just as suddenly, gone… one neighbour has moved somewhere else, and her friends Pandume and Shadow have not been at their home for months… Seraphim sits in the bus stop on their property, with it’s advertisement for her gallery, and can’t help thinking about the constant change in her life… she reads, in peoples profiles, stories of wonderful, long relationships/friendships, and of vibrant communities, and she wonders how these people avoid the state of constant flux that is her SL reality?

Seraphim met an extremely cute kitty, the other day, and, as she does, asked the kitty to pose for her…

… kitty said yes. This is Zoey Zoe Zoe, whom Seri has christened ‘Triple Zee’. Seraphim had set up her new photography background with some cat-themed art, to make Triple Zee feel more comfortable. The first two photos are how Zoey had appeared, when Seraphim first met her, cute and demure…

Seraphim finds the courtyard at Veyot’s ‘Another Town’ to be conducive to some meditative callisthenics…

… whilst her mind was a calm pool, her thoughts, ripples, spreading slowly outward and dissolving, she was aware of how Veyot’s little project here seemed to be thriving, how it had developed since her last visit…

… though T’ai Chi is a form of meditative callisthenics, it is also a slowed down practice for fighting technique…

… something Seri is no stranger to, having spent thousands of years of her long life constantly fighting forces that felt threatened by an immortal, alien female…

… till she decided to just fade from the battle, realising that she, alone, would never defeat those forces, unless she slaughtered millions of males with megalomaniacle, hegemonic obsessions, and, by then, she had formed a liking for all the other humans, the ones who weren’t assholes, the powerless ones, the creative ones…
